Well sure, if you dont do something right than it wont be right, right?! Trimming it is easy. On electric fans, sure you can. But i nwouldnt buy all the garbage that is sold to bolt right on. Since 81 fords have the same overall width radiator, but heights have changed. From 81-07 they are...- Cr500

Fan rotation, Cw, Idi, 89-02 cummins, all isbs, 6.4, 6.2, 6.5, sprinter om641 Ccw 7.3, 6.0, 6.7, 03- cummins, 6.6 duramax, There are some ******* setups on the detroit 6.5 that spins other way. Lots of mix matching can be done, 6.0 blades on 7.3s, idi fan clutch on 6.4, 6.7 fN blade/ clutch...- Cr500

Oh, also if anyone cares, fan diameter was the same on all diesels in fords from the 6.9-6.0. The blade surface area changed but not overall diameter. The 6.4 blade is technically no bigger than a 6.0 blade, but its hub is larger hence the bigger overall diameter. The 6.7 fAn blade is a hair...- Cr500

A 6.4 fAn blade will bolt right up to your idi fan clutch, you just need to make the 6 mounting holes 5/16. The fan blades need to be trimmed down a hair also to fit into your shroud.- Cr500

Help. Need 10.25 Clutch kit..Obsolete?
I have done this to many 10.25 axles and is a good strong alternative to the stock 2 pinion carrier. Plus the plates are easy to find, and in most cases ive renewed them by just cleaning/ sandblasting. And yeah diss assembly and assembly is like 1000 times easier.- Cr500
