I don't think so because about 3 weeks before I put the new turbo in I had to replace the radiator and while I had that out I pulled the inner cooler and flushed it out with Simple Green to remove oil build-up.
Thanks for the observation though, guess it could still be a problem. :dunno
Need some help folks. My 2000 7.3 has started running high EGT's and I'm not having much luck figuring out why. I put a new turbo in the truck about 4 months back and things seemed fine and at the time I moved my temp probe back to the left exhaust manifold which increased my temp readings. It...
The OEM replacements were around $58 ea and the slotted and drill were $128 ea. With getting 147000 out of the OEM's it kinda became a no brainer for me. I will say this: It looks like a person can spend about as much $ as they can stand after seeing some of the prices for rotors.
Well guys I finely decided on rotors. I went back with OEM. I just couldn't find enough justification for the added expense of the other rotors. I got mine from O'Reilly Auto Parts whit a lifetime warranty and put Wagner heavy duty semi-matallic pads back on. It's made a big differance but now I...
"I'm at a loss. It seems to be a triple failure. The brake light switch, the hydraulic backup, and the steering wheel switch. There's no servo to stick. All of this points at the PCM."

I had a problem with my cruse when I first got my 2000 F350 and it was the PCM.
But!!! If I...
Does anyone know a good set of brake rotors to put on these trucks?
I need to replace my OEM front rotors with something that will stop great and not warp everytime I haul something heavy.
I've looked on the net but to many choices. Does someone have some knowledge to share?

To remain non-CDL and out of DOT requirements you must have a GCVW of not more than 26001 lbs. (that's truck and trailer loaded with all you want to haul). Once you go over the 26001# you are under DOT regs. and that is Federal and nation wide.
I'm in TX and the only people...
I'm not real sure on a 92 or if Ford made a change but on my 2000 I don't have to pull the hubs to change the rotors. I also have a dullie.
Any way after I pull the extention for the reverse wheels which is held on by 8 lug nuts the rotor can be knocked off with a hammer.
I think one way...
I must be getting old but I can't remember when the p/s started. If this 95 still has the old ingector pump like the 7.3s had it could be the pump is on it's last leg. I know my old 88 would do things like that when the pump was about to go.
Wish this guy would post what he found.

This may seem obvious but when your cooler were put in they didn't change where your temp is being monitored did they. Before rather than after the coolers makes a big differance, even from the side of the tranny to after the coolers is a big jump.
