i do not want to seperate the turbo from the engine, i have a somewhat pending sale on the engine with turbo. the rear diff fits the sterling 10.25 10.50 both. pm's might provide better/faster replies. sometimes i forget this thread
also have a brand spanking new detroit true-trac clutchless limited slip and 3.73 yukon gears for rear and a complete set-up kit that has all bearings/shims for a rear set up.
ok, out of a wrecked truck i have a 104k mile engine. runs perfect, no leaks has ats turbo housing and exh adapter for 3" down pipe. can include the down pipe. also has a very recent e4od rebuild. shifts great and strong. et me know if interested. also pm may help as i may not check or see this...
i disagree, the crank sensor doesnt control the way the engien will run, 12v engine are mechanically injected. if the shut off solenoid is sticking it will cause running problems such as, low power, cutting out, no starts, not shutting off.
Turn engine over by hand until timing mark is at 11 o'clock position as viewed from front of engine. Install all rocker arm post attaching bolts, and tighten to 27 Nm (20 ft-lb).
you mods should work fine, just play around with the waste gate and you may actually find you can unplug and be...
i think banks has what your looking for. "dual ram" something like that. but i also heard most people say the engine simply doesnt benefit from this unless your producing stupid horsepower above like 800, running twins over 50psi. i personally would spend money somewhere else first and put the...
the main difference in vortecs are the heads, look at where the intake bolts are and how they mount and compare to old. the throttle body heads are very similar to carb heads but the center bolt on them is different too. they are or should be roller on the vortec.
from what i can remember you couldnt get the 6 in any f350 but e350, and the only way to get one in a 250 was a reg cab long bed 2wd. that was in 93-94ish. neither one of these engines belonged in a heavy work truck hauling or towing over the road. thats what 351,460, 444 was for and did well...
there are a few "dry lubes" silicone or graphite. the factory uses grease not sayin thats the best but something in there is better than nothing at all.
dont remember but i think you may have to clearance the baffles inside the valve covers for the 1.7's no biggie though. depending on actual cam lift specs you may not really need 1.7 rockers with a stockish eng. but most of the time they are a benefit. i too would not stick a 300 I6 in place of...
i dont think i have ever seen a switch spring fail, i have seen alot of switch failures and replaced a crap load of them throughout the years and the recall. but it could be bad. i would suspect alot of this is from lack of lube. you can pull the lock cylinder out and lube gear. then cylinder...
the 4r70w came out in 93 on f-series its the same thing as AODE-W they basically decided to change the name. and this was not SEFI for 93. the SEFI started maybe in 94 but was rare i think cali emissons only and you had either MFI or SEFI. you can do decent engine mods to both injection systems...
