anyone running traction bars?

wmoguy, I would not call what you have on your truck "traction bars". Most people consider a "traction bar" as something added to the original suspension to aid in wheel hop or whatever. Your complete original suspension has been removed and replaced with a 4 bar system. Those 4 bars are critical pieces in your suspension system, much more important than a "traction bar" would be.

Your right, except they are still traction bars and serve the purpose of avoiding wheel hop. The geometry is sound, get those bars as level as you can and you'll have better performing traction bars. Btw, this company sells this same traction bar setup for spring'd vehicles.

That airbag kit is a parallel 4 link, not an axle wrap kit. Although the inherent design of any 4-link completely eliminates and thought of axle wrap...

I am going to go with Ruff Stuff for my wrap bar - being in the 4x4 world is sure makes stuff like this simple.

I can't accelerate too fast in my diesel as the rear axle will hop like mad - can't even do a burnout

I'm not interested in the long bars on either side - I'll weld the axles to the tube and build a quick cross member to mount this on and away I'll go.

Agreed, that kit shown from Airbagit.com is not a traction bar kit and rather a parrallel 4-link with panhard bar. I am looking for a true traction bar similar to what KyleQ has shown but with an airbag installed for air over spring assist to counter act the loss in spring rate due to a shackle flip in the rear.

We used the Ruff Stuff kit for my wife's Willys. Works great!

She hasn't broken anything in 3 trips of rockcrawling...
