I have an opportunity to grab a zf6 from flywheel to tcase incl starter clutch pedal master and slave cyl. My question is what parts wouldn't be usable in the replacement of my E4OD
Thanks in advance

Its been done a couple times but you'll have to search.

Takes a lot of modification to work, its not like a zf5

The flywheel for sure won't work. The PSD uses 10 bolts to hold the flywheel to the crank while the IDIs use 9.

Thanks guys, not looking for a complicated project so I'll either go with a zf5 or put in another 4R100 modded to work with the semi retarded controller in the 94

Yeah from memory the gear spread wasn't much better than the zf5 anyway, just better spread.

I'd rather get an over under auxiliary with the 5 banger if you need more range

Ya the ZF-6 has a lower 1st and reverse, which is nice but not really worth the extra work IMO. If yours is a 4wd, you can use LO range when you are in tough spots and need a lower gear
