WTH? HEATERCORE!!! @#$@!!!!

that stinks, I just replaced my coolant with some real expensive diesel coolant and just noticed some surface cracks on my lower rad hose while I was working on her, I think they are from when I bent the hose while changing the coolant. U can't drain the stuff without getting it dirty.

Here is the core's I have, let me know if it's the correct one. Core size is 7-3/4" X 6-3/4" X 2" all copper tanks and fins. Weight is 3 lbs.

Hi OB8,

I'm going to take the measurements when I get back home again tonight. It looks a little different, the pipes look quite bit longer, but it could be photo aspect. Also the cap looks a little taller. All of mine have a flat top and bottom on it vs. the mountain and rounded look.

really considering going electrican fan on my truck on a progressive controller. Carry a spare one in the box if needed (theyre liek 30$ at the pick n pull :D) run oversized relays, wires, good to go!

I literally just finished installing heater core #3
OE lasted about 8 years
#2 (from Pep Boys) also 'brass copper' and just like the core in post #32 just died a few days ago .
#3 (Auto Zone) is all aluminum made by 'Spectra', $25 smackers with a 'lifetime-warranty' > I have the feeling I'll need it.
