I've got a 92 F350 that after doing some reading I'd like to put the hydoboost brakes on it. Booster, with lines, brake pedal, and power steering reservoir.
I believe they say that up to a 97 will work.
Thx.

Ok, I'm being told, if I purchase a hbooster it will mount where my booster currently is. I've got to confirm that. What you want for the pedal? I don't think I can send PM yet.
Thx.

im no expert, ive only geard up for my first HB.
got the entire kit in.
i have a manual, so the pedal wont help me.

i believe the F450 through 97 will fit. the SD needs to be modified.

find a kit first. most of the time it comes with a pedal, just keep in mind that i have one.

Yes, the hydroboost will mount will mount in place of the current unit. I'll attach a picture of mine, on a '92 F-350 cclb dually.

Thx for the pic. If you will and gave time, can you provide a pic of the routing of the 2 hoses? It appears the return line is in pic. Thx.

What's the difference between the hydrboost compared to the standard setup?

The routing of the high pressure hoses? It's a bit dark in there, and my camera had a hard time. I'll post two pictures. One will show the start area up top. In that picture notice the hose which takes a nosedive, near the hard line with the spring-like thing wound around it. You can see that same small hard line in the second picture, just for orientation. The hose which took the nodedive seems to attach to the rear of the reservoir, while the second hose attaches to the side. Keep in mind that you must have the hydroboost reservoir for this.

I have a vague recollection, also, that the fitting at the power steering end are different. That being the case, you cannot put the in the wrong fittings. I believe that to be true, but I could not swear absolutely.

Ok, thx for the pic's. Just got to round up some parts now. I don't know of any parts yards around here that would have f450's. Maybe someone will have the lines to sell, and a ps reservoir.
Thx again.

a ton more brake pressure and a whole lot better stopping power, and less pedal effort...
my 01 F250 has HB stock, and the 8000lbs pig stops on the proverbial dime...
if your towing alot, you need this in your life...

Ok, I had figured that, I'm wondering what the differences in the actual system are. I drove a company 2006 f350 hauling vegetables around the state and it would stop pretty amazingly with10,000 extra pounds behind it
