I'm serious about doing the conversion, just so many different inputs. Read where it has to be pre 97 parts to bolt up to my firewall. Use, don't use the sd ms. Went to a parts wholesaler, they don't even show a f450 for 95, 96. So, even though I'm very mechanically inclined, I'm not sure what year parts to pursue.
On another forum, a guy gave all the part numbers, but when I crossed those numbers, they were for a 2000+ truck.
I appreciate all the info, but have only gotten more confused.
I can get a hbooster at RA for 229.

First is your truck auto or std.

You will need!!!!
Ps reserviour
Ps fitting into pump that hydroboost high pressure line goes in to...this ensures correct fitting as Ford changed late 80s....dont ask how I know...
High pressure line from pump to booster
High pressure line from booster to steering box
A return line...can be factory or aftermarket oil cooler line works fine
The pedal...
Correct for your application...std for std auto for auto...or change pin location on your pedal ac ordingly.
Hydroboost unit...this is the booster that bolts to firewall in place of vacuum booster.

Some folks retain the vaciluum booster mc and slot mounting holes on mc.
Some folks swap to Hydro mc....

Personally I would switch MC

The 200 buck kit is worth it.

Any F SuperDuty hydroboost kit UP TOO 97 IS a complete is a drop in replacement for vacuum booster.

The newer 99 super duties use different high pressure lines and fittings bolt pattern is different to mount with too.

Any questions?

I didnt think so

Buy it.
