I am looking to use some sort of water filter before I place my centerfuged oil in the tank that I will fill from. I have heard a fair bit about Goldenrod water blocks as being good filter but I am not sure how the membrane will hold up to a WMO/Kero or D2 mix. Is it even worth getting the see through design for WMO or should I just get the spin on canister style?

I'm using that filter/setup, seems to work ok.
I use a couple of other filters to prefilter/mix my wmo, then CF it.
The other two filters are spin on type, one is a 2 mic biodiesel "glass" filter, the other filter is a engine oil filter, which I'm gonna change to something that has no bypass, = hydraulic filter, etc.
That filter was meant for gas & diesel tanks/barrels so should be ok with WMO.
I think the cartridge type filters are a little cheaper than most of the spin on type...???

Should be ok in conjunction with other filters. Will only catch free standing water, not mixed stuff.
