electrolysis kills aluminum.
it may be a old folk tale that grounding aluminum deletes it, but ill take the gamble.
I used marine cable with sealed heat shrink at the lugs.

Woo hoo took the batteries into Walmart and they were still under the free replacement warranty so at least I'm not out money on them yet.

I had seen those but I think you could make your own and save a few dollars. I was looking at ordanance style lugs.

Pair these up with cables with regular lugs on the ends then the clamp is sacrificed when a leaking post happens and in theory saves the cables.
The cable I would buy from eBay as well as the lugs with solder pellets.

Ya it's hard to beat a hydraulic crimper but most people have a propane torch for the solder slugs. I have contemplated getting this all figured and make and sell them. Seems to be a market for affordable cables.
