What size cable do you guys run from battery to battery and to the starter? Got the truck home today and the battery's were flat dead may have a drain on them somewhere. GP controller maybe. The cable look like hell. Any battery preference brand and size? I know only like 3 company's make batteries with different quality control for the higher end batteries.

The grounds run to the bottom of the front part of the engine block right above the oil pan.

If I remember right stock grounds are 1/0, batt to starter is 3/0 and batt to batt is 1/0 I believe, I'm going 4/0 for everything.

Group 31's fit fine in a bricknose, but not in an OBS. If you fill out your signature and tell us what truck you have it will make it easier for folks to answer some of your questions.

I have custom batt mounts, #1 under the hood, #2 on the frame under the pass front seat.
ive seen group 31's installed in the stock location.

I have lots of grounds. lol
double awt on grounds as well.
2 main grounds from battery to the engine.
#1 bat also ground to the core support.
a ground going from engine to frame.
8 ga grounds from core support to frame
from frame to cab
from engine to cab
from heater core to cab
from radiator to frame.

overkill. yup
