Found 85 f2 on CL (zf5 4x4)
Water in intake
It's a rust bucket but I thought I could use a spare set of injectors/hard lines, maybe even the sending units because the bed is off it.

What is worth picking off?

Pics.

If you're sure it's a ZF5 that would be the top of my list... :)

If it's cheap grab the IP for a core if nothing else. Then you have no down time when it's time to rebuild yours.

Looks like a brass/copper radiator which is rare these days. Only worth scrap if it's all leaky though.

Where'd you find it?

Depending on part numbers, CDD was offering to buy IP and injector cores...

Depends if free or for cheap. But free/cheap I would grab the
GP harnesses
Injector lines and injectors
IP
Air cleaner and snorkle
Fan, shrowd, radiator, overflow tank
Alternator and all the wiring to it and the regulator
Oil cooler
Starter
Low vacuum switch (Tuna can)
Any nick nacks you need in your cab that are missing or broken.
Clutch pedal
metal plate around stick shifter
ZF5 and related parts mentioned above

If it's free or cheap. I'd grab the whole thing and then decide what you want to salvage before hauling it off the the scrap yard.

Might run. I had water in the cylinders if my truck. Pulled the glow plugs and barred the engine over gently as suggested by this forum. Squirted som wd 40 in the cylinders put it back together and no problems so far.
