Wait to Start Light always on?

Well, the title says it all, my wait to start light always stays on, anyone have any ideas?

Do you have manual glow plugs or still have the factory controller?
If you've still got the factory controller, kiss your glow plugs goodbye. And to top it off, if you dont have Beru plugs more that likely they are all swollen.

If you have them manually wired, and have the controller disconnected then you're fine, but the system is detecting a cold reading since the controller is disconnected, so the system is trying to turn the GP's on.

Is just the light on? Or are the glow plugs on too?

If he doesnt have a manual controller wired in, and even if that isnt done correctly then they are one. Trust me, I know by experience with both possibilities.

The glow plugs are working fine according to the voltmeter, but I just noticed the Altenator light is on as well, however it is charging the batteries ok.

The glow plugs are on the stock system.
