yea i replaced it to it was looking a bit cracked

could this be a popped head gasket? its weird it idles ok give it throttle and probably @ 1200-1500 rpm it starts missing and smoking... i am trying to get some video of it if my girlfriend ever brings my camera back

did yo uever fill the fuel tank to the top and see how it runs.......................this would prove out a crack in the pickup tube and takin in air

no i didnt do that i guess i thought that the old motor never had a problem and i ran it down past where it is now (1/4 tank) and dismissed that all together but things might have changed
