Track bar bracket= Hardest part i've EVER had to find.............

Been searching all over the country for a damn track bar bracket and have come back with absoloutly ZERO. Went on a 500 mile treck over memorial day weekend only to come back empty handed. Saw probably 100-150 f-250's but not one single solitary f-350 anywhere. Searched on car-part.com trying to locate trucks and found a few. Told the yards what I needed gave my card number and have received only stock TTB brackets from them with no returns allowed. Unbelievable. I'm really at the end of my rope. Parts for these things are absolutely impossible to find it seems and to make matters worse, salvage yards all want to argue with me and try to convince me that ALL f-250's and f-350's are the SAME! Yes, thats what I said, THE SAME. You would think I was insulting their intelligence by telling them they are wrong. In all my years of building cars i swear I have never had this much of a problem tracking down one stupid part. If I do somehow manage to get my hands on this little elusive piece of gold then I will be having duplicates made and selling them. I never want anyone to have to go through this BS.............its hella nerve racking!

What years/options would have this piece? The pull-a-part here has several F-350s, at least 2 slantnose, 2-3 bricknose, maybe an OBS.

Its gonna be on a 97 or older f-350 4x4. F-250 stuff wont work. Its a triangular bracket that bolts to the engine crossmember.

Gotcha. I know at least one of the carcasses is 4x4. Probably can't get out there until Sat and it's supposed to rain

I think of myself as more of a collector. Funny thing is I saw one in the junkyard on an f350 and didnt grab it. When I went back for it it was gone. I Kind of kick myself now lol.

If he is the same guy who was selling them on e-bay a few months back then I tried contacting him thru e-bay but still havent gotten a response. If he comes thru for you then that would be awesome! I am going to follow the same path and have my fab guy make up 20 or 30 of them when i get one and offer em up for sale here and on pirate for those guys who are in the same spot as i am. I'm not even considering ripping into my truck until i feel confident that i have ALL necessary parts to complete the swap. Call ma ****, but as hard as this stuff is to find, the last thing I need is a truck apart that i couldn't put back together if i wanted to.

Its funny, my truck didnt need the track bar until I aligned my truck. The slight pull I had prevented it from death wobbling. After the alignment I needed it bad, the truck would start dancing at 25-30mph.

That's EXACTLY what i'm scared of....................having it aligned and then NEEDING the damn bracket and can't find one. Rather have and not need, than need and not have as the saying goes...............
