I admit that when I first came to OB I was looking for the 16-pt socket too...

Maybe it's meant as some kind of newbie hazing ritual? Kinda like sending your assistant to get the 2X4 stretcher or jug of headlight fluid? :dunno:

Like when my boss told me to get the philiflathead...

You guys almost had me fooled. LOL Time to change out my IP anyway, but I realized I couldn't remove the valley pan until the pump was out.

Grabbed my combination 12 pt wrench this past Tuesday, which has a nice angle to it. Will be getting a socket to install, since everything I have in that size is 6 pt.

I'm not an expert, just a dangerous amateur; but I woulda scratched my head if that 12 pt didn't work, or if someone said it was a 16 pt before I used the 12... :dunno

I thought that when "Hope & Change" came along that it would get done, but as it turned out, Hope was always there but Change never came. :hail :rolleyes:

the change came,,but its called communism......
