Time to start working on Big Ed again.

This was a fun project and went as well as it could. I was able to fix a couple of cracks in the black plastic bumper ends while it was off. One of the Warn driving lights was burned out, and the other was upside down, The bugged me for a long time, So it was good to take care of some of that stuff while the bumper was off.

Thats it for now,. Time to go move some more snow,...

That is good to know if I ever need to replace the end caps. I just repaired them and they are all set but if they get hit they will just shatter.

There is enough room to turn the lever for freespin, It works great,..

Got some more work done on the truck, Removed the transfercase, installed a new chain and a new back half, resealed it and got it all back together. No more Red Fluid leaking and changing the ****** every month.


Then on to working on the Running Boards:

I am getting them trimmed around the Side Pipes, Here is a test fit:

Then I got them sandblasted:

I sprayed them with Graveltec, a Stone Guard, Textured product that I used on the below the body line of the truck,

Then the final paint is Rustolium Hammered Textured Silver, to match the rear bumper, and the top of the Front Bumper:

I Hope to get them installed this week, or early next,.

Thank You!,..No doubt they are Heavy Duty,..and they are HEAVY as well. That is why I am installing them, They will offer Great Protection for the truck.

Thanks, I thought it would look good in my head,..but ya never know untill it is done and installed. It should turn out pretty cool, well see in a few days.

Like the work on Big Ed. Lotta love is put into that truck and it shows buddy. Can't wait to see the finished product up close and personal in July.
