Steering loose end play

Is there any way to adjust the loose motion in the steering box, I have all new parts in the front end but, I still have about an inch and a half play in the steering wheel.

All the movement is in the steer box, I have adjusted the set screw on top, every time I mess with this adjustment I mess up everything and have to move it back where it was.

Its very rare that the adjuster screw is ever really the problem. If you have it set too tight, it could interfere with the lower settings of the power boost and cause a minor stiffness that feels like play becuase of the delayed response time.

This might sound crazy, but I think you could actually have it set too tight.

How does it return to center after comming out of a turn?
