I was getting ready to put the skid plate back under the transfer case when I hear a couple of voices ask if I needed any help.Laying on the creeper in the opposite direction, I could only turn my head far enough to see black pants and white shirts, thought, what the hell are cops here for. turned the creeper around and here stands a couple of 18- 20+ yr old guys, One guy insisted on helping me. so he climbs under and holds the plate while I bolt it up, it's pretty heavy. Come to find out they are Mormons Later Day Saints. Come close to being one of them. Had quite a discussion. Hey, there's hand cleaner and paper towels in the garage. Pants looked pretty dusty from laying on the concrete drive. Asked if there was anything else they could help with. Thanks a lot for the help. Nice guys. Now I have to find out why I can't start in Park or Neutral. MLPS ?

Check the DTRS setting. (MLPS) There is a chance the cable or bracket came out of adjustment.
