I got an '86 300sdl and so I read every post on Oil burners about merc diesels.

Many times http://www.schumanautomotive.com/forums is referred to. Well I cannot make an account, all I get is a page that says Sorry, registration has been disabled by the administrator.


Someone who is registered the, can you help me out and give me a recommendation or something to the boss?

Russ (typ4)'s son is one of the people who runs the site IIRC....you might try getting in contact with him and see if he can help you at all.

I don't have any experience with the Schumann site, but I used to be a regular on www.peachparts.com (used to be mercedesshop.com). That site is a great source of information, but I've found many of the members to be rather hostile (it certainly doesn't have the community atmosphere that we have here!)...so, these days, I usually search past threads for information instead of asking questions.
