Would it give me enough clearance to remove the rad. and condensor and slide the engine forward? I would also like to install my turbo, I know my knuckles will appreciate.

if you are going through that much effort, lift the cab first. it's easier.
four bolts in the cab, two on the rad support. disconect the master cylinder from the booster, steering linkage, radiator hoses, loosen the AC condenser if you have one. On my truck when I did mime, I already pulled the core support, so the rest was very simple. I lifted it high enough to put 4x4 blocks between the body and cab mount and that gave me enough room to do all my engine work. why did I go through this grief? I fought my turbo upipe for a week before doing this. yanked out the turbo in less than 15 mins after doing this.
