this year I have some MORE upgrades I will be doing to my truck. I just did all the front end work last year so I wont really have to touch any of that. since the first journey will be going to Kentucky I figured the name fits it well.

the things I have on the list so far is.....

Head studs.

Conestoga's new Moose Boost turbo kit.

reseal the engine again.

re do the exhaust with dual SS 3'' pipes from the down pipe to the stacks.

make some bypass exhaust pipes to keep the bikes clean for the long drive.

a full custom shaker style hood mount intercooler with a custom hood scoop.

there are some other small odds and ends I would like to touch up but this is the major part of the build.

I will post some pre modded pictures so you can compare some before and after. any comments or suggestions are welcome.

il start with my exhaust idea. I plan to have two bypass pipes with a total of four valves to stop flow one way and direct it to the other.

here are the oil leaks I need to fix. the oil pan started to leak really bad so that is one part I really need to seal up good. the leak by the starter I think is from the rear main. it is a new felpro but I wasn't impressed with how it fit. il have to see if I can get a higher quality seal.

me too. I talked to Mel about it briefly, he said it sounds like a good idea but he pointed out that the air doesn't really hit the top of the hood, more the front. so im just hoping I can catch enough of the air to have an effective system.

to be honest, I don't know how well my hood "scoops" air,
I should install a thermometer. and take some readings, then block off the scoop and compare.
the way I see it, with the t bird hood, it should create enough turbulence to push the hot air out.

What are you using for valves?

I run the summit brand cutoffs on my 944 and have had pretty good success.

You'll love the turbo upgrade from the Banks. It's a great fit to these IDI's. Will be nice to have three Moose Boosted trucks this year. Yours, Mike's, and mine.

Dude, you better get rolling. There's a lot to do before July.;PokeLOL
