Precups

Where can I buy 7.3 precups I have two that have very large cracks, about .5 inch crack.

My head guy wants to change them.

I looked around for these when I got my heads done and I came up with nothing. There are new head castings that can be bought but as far as I know you can't get the precups.

I hate to send you to the dealer but Ford or International will have them. Give Alabama Cylinder Heads a call or Clearwater Cylinder Heads. Dieselcast Welding has new new heads and may have the cups too for sale. I think most of the above import the heads and build them here.

I looked at the parts list and the International part number is 1805850C1, Ford's part number is E4TZ-6057-A. I haven't been lucky with the dealerships, they look up the parts and they claim that most of the parts have been discontinued or have to be ordered and delivered from somewhere in Chicago. Mine have fairly long cracks in them but they don't extend past the fire ring.

E4TZ <-- That number means they were most likely the same in the 6.9 heads too.
