Gravel Rat
The premix crap is usually in 40lb bags the regular portland Type 10 is in 80lb bags. I have loaded alot of skids of cement into peoples P/Us and you watch the bumper hit the ground. The worst was loading a skid of type 10 into a 78 F-250 2wd 3/4 ton I pushed as far forward as I could but the truck still sat on the bump stops there was no suspension travel. The front wheels were just grabbing the ground I bet he had to use the brakes to steer
I always go by braking power to tell when the truck is loaded because the truck could have a beefed up suspension but it can't stop worth ****.
I know my truck can carry 8000lbs but I don't load it that heavy if I know I'am traveling over lots of hills or a long distance. The braking power is good but wasn't designed overloaded situations.
