Yea, I just pulled the injectors and did the whole air compressor / shop vac. I got a few tiny tiny tiny metal pieces that were almost impossible to see.
However, I just tried to start it without glow plugs, hooked up to the block heater, and the truck is missing pretty bad. Is this because I need to bleed the air out of the fuel lines since I took all the injectors out? Right now, its smoking pretty bad.

Edit:
Well, I cracked the lines and its running on all 8 cylinders it seems, but the knock is still there.
Looks like I had 3 good days with the truck.

You may have knocked a tip down into the cylinder if it was not at top dead center when you tried to blow out the tips. You can figure out what cylinder it is by loosening the injector line on each injector one at a tims and if it goes away its that cylinder.
