oil cooler #'s and advice

so im guessing this truck sat for a while....there looks to be old dried coolant clogging both heads of the oil cooler...look for yourself...fyi I have owned the truck for a year and have only put 500 miles on it half of those were really loaded...she never seemed to get warm or anything?

so anyone have tis issue? im guessing i clean it and get it back together?

Not sure but whats the best way to keep that from happening?
