If you remove the dually adapters is this axle the same width as a normal 60??

Anybody???? Just wanting to know if it would be a direct bolt in, I found a truck thats going to be junked, I think I can buy the truck for scrap money, get the axle then scrap the truck myself.

srw hubs will bolt right in where the drw hubs were at. everything else is the same. just make sure the axle ratios match within 10% of the front to the rear.

So I would have to find hubs not just remove dually adapters like the newer trucks have??

that's a loaded question. the simple answer is no. it really depends on the hub system you have on the axle. here are two versions. one is OEM

the other is arrowcraft.

now how do you propose for me to give you a simple answer?

Ok, thanks for the info, I will just have to take a look at the axle then.
