Normal engine oil temp

Hey guys...I know this is the wrong section for this but the PSD in my '90 sig. truck is runnnin a lil warm I think. Is 220 on the hot side with normal drivin? 60 mph @ 1950 rpm not towing and about 40F outside now...

Boiling oil, boiling oil...what temp does oil boil?...BTW...220 degrees seems normal to me...just saying...

i'd be "cool" with 220 unless it is different from what the temperature usually is


220 isnt not hot for oil imo

ok...I just wasnt sure cause I just put the sender in today. The oil on my '89 IDI turbo usually runs at 190 or so...

No problems running that temp oil. Oil must get hot enough to burn off the products of compustion that slip by the rings.
