It's worked on a 6.0 psd, the tdi, a eclipse, and a 96 ish f150.

Can you get %duty cycle of the IPR? What other good stuff can you get? Need more info.

Mine hasn't had the OBD II FLASH performed. But on a 97, it should work fine.
