New runabout project.

The guy I do some exhaust work for is thinking on building a runabout. Actually, he's trying to get me involved, since I seem to have the reputation of being able to put stuff together, that doesn't fit. Mostly it's just going to haul people, or a small trailer, for a couple engines, or motorcycles. The preliminary plan is this:

Mid 80's Chev crewcab
1/2 ton 2wd Burb frame
stubby flatbed
4bt Cummins
ZF 5-speed
tall tires, or gears

Whataya think? Sounds intersting to me. He's already got all the stuff, anyhow. I think he's just looking for some motivation.

Thanks to the winter slowdown in the shop, and one of the mechanics quitting, this project has been postponed, at least until spring.
