MORE POWER in my 1993

I have a 1993 W 250 Cummins, 5 speed Getrag. I want and need MORE POWER, yet I can find nothing for this truck. I would like an open air intake, like an Afe or the like, all I can find is 1994-. What gives? I would also like bigger injectors, again, same trouble.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also, would like to have some WHOA with my GO. I'd like a real Jake Brake, not just an exhaust backpressure flapper brake. And source for these? Also is there a rear drum to disc kit out there?

as far as air boxes go you have to do some thing yourself i built a plate (to insululate the heat) and swiss cheesed my factory box make the turbo a little louder but i like it.
theres alot o info about how to turn up your pump thats all i did and i've got 166hp 464fp to the 33s stock ratings are from the flywheel not the tires

Their are a few guys on thier with some impressive first gens. KTA-Cummins(Brian Block) and Old Smokey are at 485RWHP. They are currently having custom built HOT ROD VE pump parts. Hopefully by this time next year thier will be some 550-600hp first gens running around.

I can vouch for the factory airbox trick. I cut 2 license plate sized holes, leaving just enough side structure to hold the lid on. I'm not sure why, but it seemed to raise my max boost about 2-3 pounds. Now I need to go back in and reset the pump again.
It may be minor, and it may be my imagination, but I'm sure I noticed a difference in spool-up speed, and accelleration.
I've seem bigger mailbox slots than the hole in that factory airbox.
