Stupid question I know, but I have a good excuse. I just bought the truck last week. All my searching has brought up threads regarding stud thread size and not the overall size of the nuts.

Basically, I just need to know what size socket I need to put on these lugs to be able to take a tire off. It's a 1990 F350 CC SRW ZF 2wd. I believe it should be one inch, but I'd rather not have to buy multiple sockets to try if I don't have to.

On a side note but related, I know there is a difference between the SRW and DRW nuts with the flange, but is there a size difference? Same socket size as SRW?

If the lug nuts are stock, you probably need an 1 1/16" socket. That's what my '88 and my '93 both use.

Yep, 1 1/16th. Now if I could just get that last one off thats stuck. I've broken 2 breaker bars and the stock lug wrench trying to free this thing up. I just hope I don't get a flat before I get it loose.
