Gotta crawl around the engine to see if there are any signs of coolant leaks. Check all the hoses, including the heater core hoses, the oil cooler, the water pump, the radiator, the coolant catch tank, the block heater and the freeze plugs. Any coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant? How about your exhaust smoke....... very white........ smell like coolant?

Two places I have had hard to find coolant leaks are:
1) Heater hose, right where it attaches to the block on the passenger side. Mine had a little tiny tear in it right there that barely leaked until I grabbed the hose and wiggled it.

2) Overflow hose. This one was a giant pain to find. It would never leave any visible signs of a leak and I couldn't see the crack until I pulled it off.
