Bought an 86 and need to replace the rear adapters. Looking for the rear wheels also
I've got them on my 86 F350 with the ford 10.25, "warning": it's a pain to do brake work. But I've seen a 10.25 on the 85 f250 that had dually wheels, that truck was a cab chassis wearing a flatbed though.Theres no factory adapters on a rear dually axle; the whole axle housing is wider.
There's aftermarket spacers - usually 3-4" thick - you can get to fit dual wheels. I caution, this arrangement isnt as strong as the correct axle.
