injector pumps

what is the difference between a turbo injector pump vs a na injector pump ?
is it just the calibration ? or is there an internal difference ?

I could be wrong, but I don't think there is a difference. I think the pump is just turned up one flat. I know the 6.9 uses a 0.28" plunger and the 7.3 uses 0.31" for more fuel. Someone here should know more than I.
