For the 7.3 powerstroke, yes. The zf 6 is a little different though.
Flywheel should be different.

im 87.5 % sure they are different from N/A to PSD due to balancing.
ill take my flywheel from the 97 PSD to my 89 IDI tomorrow

The flywheels are different. There's 10 crank bolts for the psd and only 9 for the idi. The zf5's are interchangeable IIRC.

5 speeds the idi used a zf42 and the psd used a zf 47
little different first gear ratio.
I used one from a 89 in my 96.
