We went away for the weekend and the ole diesel really surprised me. Pulled the 5th with an empty weight of 13,500 and truck together that would make it in the ball park of 22,000 i filled the fresh water tank plus had gear for 7 people in it. I Avg 9.5 mpg. I was worried I wouldn't be able to run o/d. Seemed to do fine and had no problem pulling at 65 to 70 I was able to hang with my buddy in his psd for sure and actually got better fuel mileage.

Good news....... Glad she worked out for ya. And now I don't feel so bad about my mpg.

I only get around 10.9 normally.

i filled my truck today. Actually had to empty a few of my waste barrels since i;m rearranging the shop and filled my buddy's benz too while i was at it.

My truck, all in city driving. 6 traffic lights each way to work. always decelerating and accelerating.

14.2mpg on waste atf.

my buddy's 300SD was 32mpg.
