Talk to your fellow short tribe member...if he don't have one, I know where a 4.10 Open carrier 4.10 is out of a 92.

i have a complete 10.25 sterling 4.56 posi that has super low miles on it. i thought it was the perfect rear end gears for the 37s and zf5 i had in my truck

I'd swap you straight across for the 4.10's in my 94 if ya want. Now would be a great time since the truck is down anyway

I talked to billy about this before. but i really discovered the need for them today. now that i think about it, its alot more than 3500lbs.

I have 3.55s zf-5 7.3 NA and 35" tires and i dont mind it. You can always shift down.. but going up you run out of gears. I was moving river rock for a week or so doing some landscaping at this place. We rented one of those all purpose heavy duty dump trialers. Was loaded to the point i was starting to wonder about the tires on it. At one point i even had to start from a dead stop up a pretty steep hill.. id say 20% grade or so maybe more. Never had a problem. out on the freeway was fine, cruising 65ish in 4th at 2200. 2nd to 3rd gets a little long when loaded that heavy but id rather cruise 70 at 2200 in OD than 3k. Not sure how heavy the rock was, but i towed a scrap pickup in a week later, weighed in at 13,200, the rock was ALOT heavier. the scrap pulled about like the rented trailer did empty. So i guess moral of the story, i expect ill be about right with the 37s or 39s with the 3.55s. Oh took it to the track too ran a 17.38 @ 73 mph.
