I have two 1984 F-250's, one with the 6.9 and another with a built 7.3. Both trucks have a four speed four wheel drive. I have a 1989 F-250 with a 7.3, C6 four wheel drive.

With all those IDI's, this is certainly the place to be. Welcom aboard. Lots of good folks. There is a great Tech section and FAQ section as well.

The 7.3 diesel in my wrecked truck had only 5,000 miles on it. The motor came out of a Internation 1600 straight truck. The motor was completly rebuilt and had to be changed to put in a F250.

The 7.3 has overbore pistons and sleeves, the block had to be machined, crank and camshaft done, injector pump rebuilt and tuned up, marine injecters.

Do you know what you had done to the cam? I've never heard of any upgrade other than what Russ (Typ4 on OB) has available.

Welcome.

Welcome to the site. Most people use webshots or photobucket for hosting pictures to post here. Give it a try. Just click a link in my sig to see.

Get an account at photobucket or webshots(it's free). Upload some pics into the account. Each pic in the account should have a link that you can copy and paste into a post that will show up as a pic in your post.
