Yeah the bores look like there was some surface rust or something, maybe from sitting? It's not pitted and you can't feel it more just stained. The bores are covered in oil and dust so they haven't even been wiped out or anything.
I don't know about the crank he's going to Polish it but said it looked good. I have bearings here I'll try to get a pic next time I'm outside. He didn't note anything majorly wrong just the scuffs on one piston and 1 cylinder. I think that's the same cylinder I just took 2 pics. One other cylinder has a scratch too but that was the worst
