The international manual says to attach an adapter plate to the side of the engine and bolt that to the engine stand. OTC wants $900 or so for a ztse4151.

Has anyone built an adapter to fasten to the motor mount bolt holes and mount the engine sideways on the stand? Got a picture, or dimensioned drawings?

$900 sounds absolutely ridiculous for that adapter. I know that OTC stuff is high, but still...

Never heard of one, so ya made me Google it....

Looks like a guy with some fabrication skills could throw one together.
Need some good strong welds, not some Bubble Gum thrown on it.

Gotta be careful in Kommie fornia, causes birth defects over there.

Not thinking of a DT-360 or 466 are ya? ;Poke

I have some stout 2x2 angle iron, thinking of drilling holes in the ends, bolting them onto the engine, then cutting them vertically, welding some 3/8 tabs with holes pre-drilled onto the ends, then bolting through those onto the stand.
