thinking that's gonna happen too,
I hope the transfercase my buddy has bolts to the S47
the SD line bolts the shafts up by flanges. figure this will be my mounting point and then worry about the engine mounts later.

and yes I have too many parts but not enough time on my hands.

the kid is going to be doing most of this build.

So I take it the reason for the 99 frame is because you had it "laying around" haha....that's the only reason I could justify not going 05 up chassis with the obs body. So much better overall. But the leaf sprung super duty is still better than a leaf sprung obs

I'm on board any time free is in the mix and something is being improved. So I guess that would answer powerplant question as well. Although the extra oomph of a power stroke sure would help exceed that 60 mph limit. That super duty chassis is a lot heavier as well, so that makes an idi even more of a comparative dog. Tough choice

its not really a tough choice when you have a IDI and a PSD right next to each other and they both need injectors lol
ive added a good amount of weight to my IDI and she moves for a 8500 # rig.

Oh I definitely couldn't use a disk brake axle for a trailer floater lol, that just hurts my feelings
