Is there an idi to gm trans adaptor?

So lets say i was looking at putting an idi in a 4 wheel drive full size gm vehicle.

With the front diff on the pass side, whats the options on transfer cases?

It would depend on which vehicle and I would think that a 12 valve would be easier more options no steer you away from idi's but if you can find one let me kno how ur conversion goes my dad bought a 94 brand new cc drw 454 has 396xxx on the clock gets 6mpg loaded or not and i went alot of places in that truck and he gave it to me an I wanna do a diesel conversion an drive it so it won't go to waste cause it cost me about 7 bucks just to get the mail right now lol I start it once a month that's it

Might be able to turn around or modify a GM to SAE trans adapter and take off the current IDI to ford trans adapter.

Otherwise, you might want to do a hybrid transfer case or divorced transfer case.

get a 2wd c6/t-19/zf5 and use a divorced NP205. that's what i did in my scout!

This is really easy and I am quite surprised no one has caught on...

Take your IDI and what ever 4x trans you want...add a FORD 203 gear reduction box and using a doubler kit bolt on the GM transfer case of your choice
