Skid plate does not protect the sump, I sure you could add some protection.

I don't have any experience with the sump, but I did my fuel system like you drew up. I put my pump and filters as close as i could to the tank because they don't really like to pull fuel. I used 6 an lines for everything. It has worked great for me. Never any issues until my no name pump went out. I put in a Holley black, I think, and everything is great. you can see some pictures of it in my build thread that has not been updated in a long time. its on the last two pages 13, and 14.

How are the straps delt with on the 38 gallon?
Apparently I did it the hard way by cutting the straps and lengthening them out by welding in another piece of flat metal. I've since learned that most people just weld a piece of all thread to the threaded part of the straps to lengthen them out. I'll know better next time for sure!

2wd so no skid plate spare tire carrier did the auto delete and fell off on the highway,

Do you already have the F26E Spectra tank?

It comes with the kit to extend the fuel pick up and some longer bolts etc... for the Straps you already have.
Although the bolts they sent me were a inch or so too short, and had to head to the HDW Store for longer ones.
You use the same top straps, and the same bottom straps.

Also extended the wire to the Float around 5".

The price has come down quite a bit from where it got up to.

I washed and degreased the tank from the oil that coated it. Wiped it down with Wax and Grease remover. Treated it with phosphoric Acid, then threw on some POR. Gave it a couple coats of bed liner spray. Did the same to the straps. Then in the recess on the tank (top and bottom) smeared on the RTV, and same on the straps for a cushion.

Had the bed off to make access easier, but to R&R the tank, it has to be dropped down and out.
Spread on some Anti Siez to the top of the new Senders to help with rust issues.

I like pushlok better than the hose barbs with clamps, but that’s what Napa had so I settled for that… but pushlok for water separator inlet and fuel filter outlet, and I have pushlok on my return rails. Big fan of the pushlok system. Oh and the return rails are worth getting too if you don’t already have them.

I would like to go 7.3/ late return kit, I’m still on the fence for rails Because I really have no issues with the oem system I’ve got 2 years of loyal service from my Russ kit so to me cost wise doesn’t really make sense

Remember, do not use Hose Clamps with Push-Loc Hose.
Maybe you know this, but someone on the side lines reading this may not know.

Not sure with Bronco Grave Yard, but the rear tank mostly recommended is the Spectra F26E.
I used that one on my 86, fit right in

This is from the Spectra site.

Doesn`t show Diesel, just gassers.

Amazon has it for $187,
Scroll down and read the reviews, fits 86 - 97.

I think I have the top left one from your pic in the garage, I’d give it to you for $50 but you’d have to figure out how to get it
