The front tank gauge quit working a long time ago ( stayed pegged way past F ) . Recently, the rear tank gauge started bouncing around from nearly empty to pegged above full with tank being about 15 gal low . When completely filled up, the gauge quite bouncing and stayed pegged above full . How do the sending units work - more resistance when full or the opposite . Any advice on troubleshooting and a recommendation on a lasting fix are appreciated.
