You didnt strip the threads. You just been turning it the wrong way for 2 days.napa has a big thick filter wrench made just for our trucks and it takes a 1\2 breaker bar

I used an old leather belt around mine after I saw a video on youtube showing this trick. Worked for me, but I still had to CRANK on the thing.

I have had to wrap a 2in ratchet strap around a piece of 1&1/4" square stock and then turn with a 24" crescent on big equipment filters before
(Basically made my own heavy duty strap wrench)

I really don't think you ruined the threads. If you did it would be off by now, lol.

Kinda like in Jaws... I think you're going to need a bigger wrench... You can buy a ultra large set of channel locks from Northern Tool.

Pliers yanked it off. Broke the bleed valve, drilled out and rethreaded. Brass screw and threadlocker. Hope it holds. Nothing in a junkyard except a ***** 7.3 SD and later model crew cab, engine gone
