front axel spindel seal

wich way does it go do i have it rihgt?

it is the same size and i cant press it on to save my life help please

and it is loose on the other side is it supposed to be that way?

it is a dana 50 ttib axle and this is the passenger spindel thanks

In Jim Allen's (Pwrsmoke on this forum) book Differentials, he shows a picture of a D50 TTB axle being put back together on Page 200. Under the picture, the caption states "Reinstall the axle assembly, engaging the inner axle splines into the differential. The J-seal goes on next, with the solid part to the inside and the flap facing out. Needless to sya, the seal should be well greased." Hope that helps. I am sure someone else will chime in soon as well.

I can't tell. Is that the hub side seal, or the axle tube side?
If it's the axle tube side, they're pretty much a waste of money. They'll turn into "donuts" in no time.
Oops. I didn't see the Dana 50 part.

You have the wrong spindle kit..... you can remove the dust plate and update it to the newer seal kit or get the correct kit
