Ex pull truck

So my buddy's got a ex pull truck for his dd it's a 02 2500 6 speed p pumped bigger turbo all that good **** it's got 190000 miles he want to sell it to me to use for my dd instead of my idi, is this a good idea what major problems could I face down the road being a ex pull truck

Could be a ok daily driver depending on many things. What size turbo/s? Pump mods? Tranny?
