Electric fuel pump part number

I ran the Delphi version of that pump and it wouldn't keep up at higher RPMs. A few other guys on here have run them but have noted the quality has gone down and they are not lasting as long as they used to. There was a thread on here about them not too long ago.

I am currently running an older P4070, no issues, but a lot of folks here have reported disappointment with the newer ones.

I am considering one of these should my old Carter fail.

They cost about the price of a tow from out in the middle of nowhere. $200 neighborhood. But they are designed for marine service...which is just about right considering where I mounted it...under the van on the main support beam...it gets whatever is on the road. Salt, mud, whatever. I figure that habitat is about as nasty as anything it would see at sea.

Ok, I did search for "wallbro". Helps a lot if you have the key word. I had the exact same concern as you several months ago...

Especially after reading the forums that went through here.

Personally, I really like the mech pumps - it's amazing just how much flow they can flow at higher RPMs(where you need the fuel).
If you are having priming issues, you can either fix them, or do something like put a dirt-cheap electric pump between the mech pump and the fuel filter.
You only need to run this pump before starting, and, as long as it'll allow fuel to flow through it... everything will be fine - the mech pump will just push fuel through the electric pump. And if the electric pump dies, or the check valves leak... it'll just pass fuel through it.

Yup, the older P4070's were great. Ran tons of them in many applications, the newer ones (farmed out to China) are JUNK!!!!!! They left me stranded many times. Tried many of them

Switched to Walbro FRB-13. No issues since

I agree just tired of my diesel sitting and losing prime. If i start once a week its fine, but if i got a month she lost primed also had to clean the fuel system had a weird slim in it
