TOT code will automatically default the transmission. TC lock up code and TOT code could be a bad solenoid pack.

You might not have a tranny problem. You might have a tranny cooler problem that the new stat made show up.

That's what I'd try. Most performance rebuilders recommend bypassing the radiator cooler. Jasper wouldn't honor the warranty on my monsterbox if the radiator cooler was stillused

Flush the rad cooler. You should never bypass this cooler.
This cooler does most of the work during slow speed and reverse operations.

According to the good tranny builders the radiator cooler, 5/16 lines and tranny fittings are too restrictive.
TThey recommend 4r100 line fittings, 3/8line and a good heavy duty cooler with 3/8 line connection.

Change the tank cooler fittings to 3/8" line. Then instal the aux cooler.
Ford eliminated the tank cooler in 99. Late 00 they returned that cooler after replacing many transmissions under warranty.

Tranny has been fixed for a few months now. The Solinoid pack and plug were corroded. Brand new Solinoid pack from ford and a pig tail harness from the bone yard. I shifts perfect now. Thanks again to all who helped.
Even adapting to 3/8fittings youre still trying to shove fluid through a 5/16hole and a cooler with internal passages that are too small.

The tank cooler is actually a bundle like the engine oil cooler. Your restriction would be the fittings, 3/8" is better than the originals.
